Plaza awarded the Best National Logistics Project

The Zaragoza Logistics Platform was awarded the prize for the Best National Logistics Project this afternoon by the International Logistics and Material Handling Exhibition (SIL), which opened in Barcelona.
The Presidency Councillor, Javier Velasco, received the prestigious award acknowledging PlaZa, a company assigned to the Aragon Public Business Corporation, as the best intermodal logistics platform in Europe, covering 13, 130, 7923 square metres on which over 250 companies. are located. It provides jobs for a total of 9, 000 people.
At an event held at Barcelona Trade Fair, attended by the Catalan Regional President, José Montilla, and the president of the Principality of Asturias, Vicente Álvarez Areces, the Presidency Councillor expressed his gratitude for the prize and recalled that the prestigious award is the recognition of work carried out over many years and a huge scale political commitment, driven by the President of Aragon, Marcelino Iglesias, who, as Velasco recalled, has put all his efforts to ensuring Aragon as a significant logistics hub.
